Artist Statement

The "Summer of '33" is the first in a new series by Noel Graydon, delving into our future sex. It is one of many probable visions of our toxic Society's inevitable destinations. Currently our world is tortured by the way we live, ironically, we could be the ultimate victims. Our intimacy could be breached by the need to shield against malicious microbes and acerbic atmosphere.
To continue to adapt to their rapidly deteriorating environment, future citizens may need to add "Lifestyle Aids" such as a second skin of Latex, making them Sub Human and compartmentalized, unable to fully penetrate to the dermis of their lovers embrace.
We may all reminisce some day of that Summer in our youth when we could lay naked and free on the Beach.
